but I dunno - mybe add another element to the mix to completely change the whole point - like drop this back to the background and put a huge character with its back facing the viewer -

or even better behind all the screen put something to nail all those floating tvs from a graphic design into a world,

or keep going with the design elements and do a negative overlay of a big ham sandwich

just some ideas -

I was thinking of one of these options:

-Keep the composition as is, but add different kind of Tv's and probably 1 or 2 more painted radios.

-Make it all about the painte-radio-fake-tv, make it chracterlike and it holding a brush and some paint cans lying on the floor.

-Add a negative overlay of a big ham sandwich.

-Start thinking of something else.

I definitely like this concept. I have nothing really constructive to offer, though. It's hard to think creatively when all I've done today is dig through stupid people's accounts for fraud.

Though seems not a lot of people are liking this, I think I'll work a little more on it today and see if i get me more likers.

I didn't get the radio at first. I think it's the color overlay. I agree that you need to bring more attention to the radio...whether it's holding a paint brush, can of spray paint or a ham sandwich is up to you. Good luck.

I like this a lot, and I want to see where it goes.

Pathan - Limbless was my original idea, but I think this way it adds more story to it, like someone wanting to be something he is not, or having an identity crisis or some other interpretation; and limbless it could easily give the idea that someone else painted it. And the placement is merely temporary, it will be changed once I add more to it.

Daniella - I already have something in mind that might include music notes.

Wow, Identity Crisis is all kinds of fantastic man! There's just something off to me when looking at it on a tee, there seems to be something missing from the right side of the design. also, maybe a smoother circle around the speech bubble of the color tv, and perhaps making the paint cans more neat and tidy? It just seems like you are really going for a clean, well-manicured look with the radio and everything else and then those pieces feel like hold-overs from your usual (and very awesome) style that don't mesh as well? Sorry if this sounds insulting, cause it's not meant to and I really do adore this piece. As for the antennae, i agree it's a good idea, and you can have him clipping pieces of a wire hanger to his head with some duct tape. Maybe that would fill the piece out on the bottom some more, with a roll of duct tape and a wire hanger and another one clipped with some scissors scattered, making the painting of the face of the radio just the final piece in its long and arduous process of becoming a television. Then it could tell more of a story with the pieces on the ground? Sorry if this is too late or not what you are going for. Love it man!

I had though about cleaning the cans too, I just wanted to have some more scattered color bits, but perhaps II'll tidy them a bit. And tape was my idea for the antennae as well, but I like your wire hanger idea. Anyway, I'll take a closer look at your suggestions once I'm home and I'll try to work them as well as I can. Many thanks to you my man!

I don't think you need to clean the cans; I swear every time I paint I end up with cans worse-looking than this. If I need a quart of paint, I just buy a gallon 'cause most of it ends up on the outside of the can, the lid, or me.
