I love how you're starting to use patters now in your stuff to color certain shapes, it's really kickass looking. . . I'm not really feelin' the composition on this one as much as some of your others, though. . . my eye is just kind of going all over the place and the way you are drawing a lot of long flowing lines it feels like they should lead my eye in a certain way. . . don't know if this is making much sense, I like it but think it needs some work before you sub it.

Daniella-I like your title suggestion! I am going to add some rain, just hadn't done it yet, and he is somewhat speaking or blowing the cloud, I thought the cup is more kind of to refill himself to keep it raining.

Olie-I know what you mean about focusing man, hopefully that won't be the case after I add the rain and another element i rather not mention cause I'm not sure it will work.

And this was pretty hastily made, took me little less than 2 hours (which is very little by my standards), I'll try to have an updated version by tonight or tomorrow if school allows me.

part of me thinks there might be too many raindrops.. but Im not sure

the other thing that bugs me a bit, and this might just be a style your applying to the design, but it would still irk me is the way the arm and leg lines go through to the head/body with no regard to the fact that their is a body there. but really thats kind of minor i guess.

About the too many raindrops, do you mean inside the cloud or overall?

And the limbs thing is kind of the style =), since I'm using "transparecies" all over, i can try and change that but I don't promise anything, I kinda like how almost nothing there seems really solid.

Oh, and RW, my bases are melodic death metal, I learned to play guitar with Dark Tranquillity, In Flames and At The Gates mostly, but lately I've been incorporating influences from bands like Opeth, Dillinger Escape Plan, Solefald, etc.

I guess I mean overall. if you had the amount of rain drops that are under the cloud in the cloud, and then fewer under the cloud it would be good

Oh and Daniella, I think I'm using your title suggestion, but I think "The Condensationist" sounds more right, but I'm not 100% sure, there's something about the last alist, that's making some noise for me, but you should know better as a native english speaker, what do you think?

well, the word "conversationalist" is defined as a person who is good at or fond of engaging in conversation.

a "conversationist" has the exact same meaning, but I have never used that word in conversation.. ha. but its true.

so i guess either would work, but for me I think i like the aspect of condensationalist because of the mid sound of sational, like sensational meaning awesome.

best to ask around though.

I think there are to many raindrops in the cloud, You can't really see the nice cloud curls in there anymore, I like the character a lot, especially his tie.

About the fish spelling one.
I like the idea, but this character could use a little more work. It looks a bit to much like, just a random shape with a mouth and eyes. The overall composition is good though.

That was the intention =D, I'm trying out stuff and I kinde like the simplicity and amorphousness of it, though I will be working some more on it, Thanks for your opinion as always.

i think the raindrops should be solid.everything in that area is outlined and see through, which makes the left side too heavy.

Daniella-I know what you mean, but there's also a friend of mie that tells me not to change a thing. I think i'm in the phase where I risk overworking and ruining it, so I gotta go with my instinct now. Thanks for your input as always.

I don't see it as overworking because you had it like that before you have this outline version, so actually the outlined version is the "overworked" version. If you look at the small version of the design that you are showing on the shirt it looks like the drops are full anyway, and to me that just reads better.

ok im done.

The fish one.. looks to me like he would be spelling it backwards, I would reverse where the fish parts are, the head at the top and the tail at the bottom
