Atomic/Platinum-That was my initial though too, to have both chameleons o the edges of the drakkar, but i think it makes more sense that they're both facing toward the enemy, readily to thrust their weapons onto unsupecting enemy warriors

And there's also threadless hating more symmetric designs just because of their symmetry

FA- I'm gonna try putting some vikings there, but as you know i SUCK at drawing people, but anyways most of them is not supposed to show, so maybe just helms peeking out of the shields (which i still have to draw)

And I'm thinking of adding some other unlikely vikings, maybe a fish with an axe, and perhaps some birds with arrows in their beaks, but i still have to see how that would work

And also, I did get the tape man, i watched it a bit, but I'm hoping to watch it much more tomorrow

Hey, I keep meaning to weigh in on this. So I will now. I love it, and think it looks great so far! It's a fun concept - at first I thought it would be cool to have the chameleons facing each other, like a battle between them under the boat complementing the vikings going into battle above the surface. But that's a different idea, and I have to say I like the way you're taking this angle too. It's darker and kind of funny nonetheless.

Colors - maybe something a little more muted than your regular palette? Or were you thinking gradients?

My only other suggestion would be to include some kind of subtle water graphic (or are they sailing in leaves?) to put the whole thing into some sort of context instead of having it float there in the middle of the shirt.

You described exactly he way i was planning this (great minds think alike eh? ;D ), I'm trying to go more monochromatic on this (see how i pull it off), and I'm definetly trying to add some watery context, i already have an idea of how to do it, hope it turns out ok, maybe some clouds too but I'm not sure of that yet

I think what you have looks great. I love the addition of the shields. I think some kind of environment would be great, but keep it very simple...you really want that awesome ship to be the focus!

it looks flat. you need to add more depth to the design. something in the background, like a horizon line, or some faded back ships, like a huge fleet. really anything to put it into context.

Thats vikingship-chameleon design is really cool, looks good on the shirt too. Ill be watching to check when you finish and submit it.

I'm digging this one too though man, would it be possible to work more chameleons into the image somehow? And I agree with snaggle tooth about something in the background to add a little more sumtin sumtin.

Snaggle- Maybe the lack of shading in the upper part of the ship enhances the feeling of flatness. I do have an idea for a subtle background, hope I can make it work.
