...actually followed through on his proposition and sent me this shirt to wear around school/work and get the publics reaction. Should be a fun experiment, and I will post responses and reactions as well as photos of me posing with various people later on in this post. Either way, thanks Andy, anyone who sends me a free shirt is a good guy in my book.

so i just found out that one of designs was accepted for the 2007 Semi-Permanent book and I'm really excited. Anyone have anything featured in there in previous years or been to one of the conferences before? I really dont know much about the events, does anyone else know anything more about it ?

anyone know how to export a flash movie to include all the movieclips/sounds and everything?!?! Whenever i export, it only includes the main timeline, nothing within it. there are some apps. i found that can just convert an SWF directly , but none for MAC OS. help me please ?

Well, Threadless has done it again, and has proven to work in mysterious ways. After nearly a year, I get an e-mail saying my submission has won! Such a great feeling and I couldn't be more thankful to those who voted. This one goes out to all my teachers who told me to stop doodling in class!

so i downloaded a new font library, and now certain sites in camino (mac version of firefox) displaye random fonts on websites... can anyone help me ?!

ok, so after waiting only three days for my iMac to be delivered (great turn around, right?) i was more then excited to start designing with flawless performace. After downloading Adobe Suite 2.0, and running Photoshop/Illustrator, I was shocked to see how terribly they performed, and how they slowed down the entire system like any old PC would. I did some research and found out that many applications (i.e. photoshop) are not "on the same page yet" so to speak, with the new processor in the intel iMacs, causing them to run slow. I dont understand why a Adobe or Apple, two companies who have worked together for so long to create the perfect atmosphere for a designer, have all the sudden had such a miscommunication.
It is a very disappointing end to something i have looked forward to for so long.
Anywho else in this situatio, or have any possible solutions to this problem ?
