LAST FULL DAY! Louisa May Axolotl - a leucistic novelist

Okay. Aaron Jay sent me a lovely zip file with all the necessary ingredients to complete a submission, just like he did for our previous collab. In the required jpg field, I could either put the design image or the placement image (these are separate jpg files). I have the swf file and it's fine, but I can't view it (I'm at work). When I preview, there's no flash, so I can't tell what it looks like. Do I put the design jpg in the required field or the placement jpg in? I feel like an idiot. I really need to get more knowledgeable about this stuff!

Oh, and I'm sure Aaron is busy; I tried emailing him. LOL

I would appreciate any help!

UPDATE: I finally had my lighbulb moment; it's pending now!!!

First one is the thumbnail, second one is the static 1 frame image of the design + placement, third is the SWF

or, if it helps, the smallest JPEG is the placement goes in the first one, the JPG around 250K goes in the Required, and the Flash swf goes in the Optional

I know which one is the small gif (preview) image, and it's fine; but he's given me two jpg files PLUS the swf. There's only a place for ONE required jpg/png/whatever and then the field for the swf.

So I think he's just given me two jpgs in error; just one needs to go in the required box.

Sorry, I was unclear. And Michelle, I'm right up there with you. I'm barely learning this stuff as I go. I'm just proud I know basic html. :D

I'm not sure what the jpeg is for if you upload an swf: alternate image for those viewers who can't see flash content?
In this case it should not be critical: choose whichever image gives the best idea of the job. Placement if the design is readable enough in it, design otherwise.

I'm not sure, either, Manupix! The placement page is definitely "readable", so I may just do that. But I'd hate to look like a total moron if the swf file is of the placement. LOL

jpeg is for viewing on phones i believe and if u dont have flash

it's not so important that JPEG, it's for people viewing on iphones/ipads or old internet without Flash, most people will see the swf file. open both JPEGs and choose your favourite.

Whichever you decide won't affect what's in the swf!
Which probably include both jpegs anyway.
