I plan to be a vegetarian someday, once I get more self control; being that I love eating lamb, and other things.

I'm as close to being vegitarian as a meat eater can get I guess.
At home I never buy or cook meat, but if I go out to dinner, or people cooked something with meat. I'll eat it.

I've never had lamb; only pork and beef and chicken and fish. I could live without any of them easily, but my girls and husband are freaking carnivorous to the max.

Oooh. I didn't know gyros were only made out of lamb. I just assumed, like a taco or sandwich, it would just be whatever meat or veggies. I'm now smarter for having y'all in my blog.

And honestly, I don't think ANYONE is an asshole for eating lamb. If you ate A lamb, like, drove over to a field with sheep and picked up a lamb and started eating it, then yeah, you're an asshole. LOL

And no, Alan, I don't believe that wolves are assholes. Only if they eat my cat. Then they're assholes. XD

awww, TIFFFFFFFFFF :(.

I have seen some pretty brutal meat consumption in my home. There is this awesome Jordanian dish called Mensef and you have the lamb head in the middle of dish with bits around it on the rice and my dad will whip out a mini pickaxe to get at the brains.

and i have seen little kids be all like, OMFG I WANT TO EAT THE TONGUE.

(i only eat the normal cuts of meat, but i'm pretty desensitized to the consumption of the weird parts)

its not just lamb, Becky. its a blend of beef and spices and stuff. You can also get a chicken gyro, I dunno if you could do it with vegetables.

I used to work at a gyro shop! agh i ate so many gyros that summer. my favorite is just having the shawirma meat on rice with tzatziki sauce and tomatoes and lettuce GODDAMNIT THIS BLOG IS MAKING ME SO HUNGRY

I was a vegetarian for five years, but then I almost died because of blood anaemia. the doctor said I'm going to get blood cancer if I won't change my eating behaviour...
I know vegetarianism works for a lot of people (my sister is vegan) it won't works for me though :(

I'm the same way, Rose. I have to settle for making sure we only eat free-range beef, pork and chicken.

I know for a fact I could never be vegan, solely because of cheese. Cheese is my ultimate comfort food. :)

The only time I have knowingly eaten lamb was in shepards pie. I can't even remember if it was something that really stood out from the beef though to make it worth it.

All about me
32 years old, married, two young daughters. I love different clothes and hate to wear what everyone else wears.
