So I ordered a bunch of shirts during the lovely back-to-school sale (which was awesome, by the way; thank you, Threadless!) including Mitch's foodie shirt and James' octopus shirt. My older daughter Auburn got Mitch's shirt and my younger daughter Jodie got James'. They were getting dressed in separate rooms; I was with Auburn in my room while Jodie was in her room (supposedly looking for socks) when Auburn pulled her shirt over her head and said, "Wow! The inside of my shirt smells like a cheeseburger!" It took her a while to actually pull her head THROUGH the hole because she was so busy sniffing. Assuming she was being weird (no idea how that would happen... must be genetic on her dad's side), I went in to check and see if Jodie had found her socks and found her sitting on the floor in her room with her shirt on but her head inside the shirt. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Momma, my shirt smells like pizza!"
Is there a new trend in the clothing industry? Should I wash these shirts in ground beef and cheese or pizza sauce? Is it a conspiracy by the folks packing up our orders, eating lunch and wafting the smells into our shirts? Can we request a specific lunch destination before our orders are packed???

32 years old, married, two young daughters. I love different clothes and hate to wear what everyone else wears. Granted, more than one person buys each of these t-shirts, but they're far different than the ones you find in American Eagle or GAP. My username on Live Journal is nosleepnever which is a shout-out to Kurt Halsey. I avoid MySpace like the plague.
Some of my artwork, which I normally would never post anywhere, but I'm trying to become more comfortable with that: ![]() ![]() |
