jesstune aka jess tune is a girl, has been a member since November 6, 2007, has scored 2,014 submissions, giving an average score of 1.57, helping 55 designs get printed.
i know you post a design, people score it, give it some love or rip it to pieces, and then you end up with a final score. but what next? there's no real cut and dry when it comes to score (like 3.0+ gets printed). so do the threadless staff just pick the ones they like with high enough scores?

they put all the designs outside and if a bird poops on them it gets printed

there is a pretty odd zone of scoring where it'll get printed, anywhere from 1.5 and up basically. usually though, it'll be anywhere between 2 and 4, since thats where everything worthwhile is usually rated.



The rest is done by how many $buy marks are made, which is kept undisclosed towards the public. They also go through each design they think worthy of print and have their own reasons for each print. They being the staff at Threadless.

Sadly, some of what deserves to be rated in the usual zone of printing is not there, and furthermore, some of what deserves to be printed isn't.
