Well, I started my new site (a spawn of iloveskinnycorp.com) called stippr.com. It's pretty much just an awesome site where the most modest people on Earth come together to chat.
I'm mostly just putting together some neat things that I've found over the years like several artist clothing lines, yes, including Threadless. Some cool tech stuff and commentary as well as great moozac. I'm hoping soon to launch new sections and make it a bigger and more community based website but it all takes time. In the mean time, have some fun and enjoy stippr.com!
Hey guys, i'm really happy to find a place where it seems like we're all concerned about the environment. I'm working on a website for people who want to talk about improving our environment as well as finding cool clothing that seems to support our ideals. Any ideas on if this would work or maybe some suggestions? Thanks everyone!
I just submitted my first design and i really hope it gets approved and everyone gets a chance to see it. I've never really used my copy of Illustrator to it's fullest extent since i was in a class for design and even then i didn't really like it. I found today that it was pretty powerful and I've always been partial to vector designs. Maybe i will take the time to learn to design vector websites but i highly doubt i will have time with school and all. I guess that's why we have summers!
So i've been buying up shirts lately and i finally took some photos of me in them. It's probably pretty embarrassing but what are you going to do? It doesn't look like i am going to be able to stop buying shirts from here because they're awesome!
On a different wavelength i have finally gotten through the semester unscathed with pretty good grades. All that's left is presenting the websites i wrote and getting good grades, : ). Long live the winter break and threadless! Oh, i am wondering if anyone has ventured to the Chicago store yet and checked it out? I live in Wisconsin about 40 minutes from the windy city and i was wondering if it was worth the drive. Thanks!
Well i guess i found a good place to spend money finally. I've checked out some great sites for clothes but only this one keeps me coming back to see what's new and keeps my wallet empty!
I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with sites like umbrella market or johnny cupcakes but those were the kind of "creative" sites i was used to buying clothing but i'm much happier now that i've found threadless. Oh, and yeah, i even tried to get my sites own, "I love threadless" partnership going for my site, musicopinion.org. Maybe they will like what my site does and we'll get my own i love threadless logo! |
I am a web design/visual communications/information resources major in a little town called Milwaukee. I hug teddy bears for fulfillment and my life partner is a bag of tootsie rolls. I kid, i kid, i jest, i jest. I run my own site and update it when i feel like it because time is not a luxury and neither is money. Unfortunately for my wallet, i spend most of the little money i have hear at threadless but at least i have lots of clothes to wear when i lose my apartment. Oh, the hard times of a college student. Oh well, i love talking so if you want a pen-pal, write me!
