Maybe it is just a coincidence but I've seen this written on walls in pub toilets in London and also on a bridge in Thailand.

Well, I wrote it on a university toilet door in Melbourne. Maybe news spreads via toilet doors? But no, you're right, it's a slogan that exists in the global consciousness; and now on a Threadless tee.
