THREADLESS SURVIVAL INFORMATION


OVERVIEW~

Six tribes from different walks of threadless life; 6 Threadless Ghods to guide them; 5 rounds of dificult design themes; 1 Ultimate Survivor.

Each tribe submits a collaborative design that has been constructed from the work of all of the team members (aka, everyone designs something in the submission), based on a new theme for each round.
The tribes have one week to submit their pending submission thumbnail to the designated blog (there will be a new blog for each theme).
The first round of designs need to follow the guidelines already set by Threadless.
A new theme will be reveiled after the scores for all the designs are finalized.
The lowest scoring tribe is sacrificed to the ghods (aka, eliminated).
The highest scored team wins the title of tribal council for that round.
In the unlikely case of a tie, all tribes will take a vote (this includes if all tribes miss the deadline).
The last team standing is then split into individuals who will be given a last theme to determine the ultimate survivor and win $250.


IMMEDIATE TRIBE RESPONSIBILITIES~

1. (ALL Participants) Contact threadsurvivor@gmail.com with your email and member name.
2. Decide on a speaker for your tribe, have he/she contact the email.
3. The entire tribe needs to design a horizontal flag before Nov 1st, based on your Threadless Ghod. The speaker submits it to threadsurvivor email.


THE CHALLENGES~

Themes have been pre-determined by Montro and chelly.

Each round will have a theme.

First theme deadline: NOV 8 (midnight, threadless time)

It is up to the tribe as to whether or not they want to create an account under which to submit their designs.
In the case of keeping the already-standing accounts, one tribe member (the speaker) will be responsible for organizing/subbing the design and posting the pending thumbnail before the deadline.
Each member of the tribe has to participate in the design submitted (will be based on honor system).
If a thumbnail is submitted after the designated deadline, that tribe will be banned from winning the round.
In the case of the last theme, if any individual misses the deadline, they will be eliminated from the competition.
Again, themes will be set within 24 hours after all of the scores are final.

The theme of the first round will be reveiled via email as the teams submit their tribe flags, giving extra time to tribes who quickly create team dynamic.
Following themes will be released to all the tribes at the same time.

Any team who scores over a 3 gets the bonus of choosing from multiple pre-set themes for the proceeding round.


POWER OF WINNERS~

For each ended theme, a winning tribe will be selected based on their design's score.

At this point, the winning tribe now has the power of the the tribal council and has 24 hours to give the other tribes one bonus and one punishment.
If the bonus/punishment is not submitted by the deadline, nothing is applied to the other teams and everything stays as is.

The bonus is immunity from losing the next round. Immunity cannot be given consecutively to the same tribe.

The punishment that the winners can hand to a tribe, is that they lose a color (ie. only use 4 colors on their designs and etc w/ each round).
No team can lose more than 4 colors, but they can be consecutively selected.
Once a tribe loses a color, it will not be regained.

The same tribe can NOT be selected for both immunity and color loss. When there's 3 tribes left, lowest score still gets sacrificed to the ghods but immunity does not exist anymore. Punishment does, however.

In the final round, the number of colors the individuals are able to use is based on how many remaining colors their tribe had before winning the finals.

Again, any tribe that scores over a 3 wins the bonus of choosing from multiple pre-set themes for the next round.

Grand winner gets $250 and title of Ultimate Survivor!
