The title of the design is taken from the command used in msoffice to generate this sentence.

It's a phrase that is used to show font styles since all the letters of the alphabet are represented. Check it- The Quick Brown Fox Jumped Over The Lazy Dog.



Hence the user can see if they will like using the font for their purposes, rather than choosing and disliking the font because of readability or the representation of one letter.

It's also the shortest sensible English sentence to use all 26 letters. There's some shorter, but they make no sense.
