Threadless Sticker Club!

BaronVonMonkey started a blog about stickers he printed, and it just brought back all these memories of sticker trades when I was a kid. I think I may still have one of my sticker albums.

anyway, I thought it would be really neat to trade stickers with the designers here. I just went out and bought some sticker paper.. nothing fancy, but Im going to print some up, if you have any requests please tell me.

I would LOVE to have a THREADLESS Sticker Album.. It could be like a Sticker Club, whos up for it?

You can print at print shops (Staples, Office Max etc) using your own sticker paper, just make sure you get LASER PRINTER sticker paper as that's what those places use. If you go to a more artsy print shop they probably have inkjet printers as well but inkjet prints are super expensive to get done at a print place, so you'd be best off using inkjet sheets on your own printer.

yeah Im sure you can get them printed at places like staples without sneaking around as i suggested..

you could also just draw on some sticker paper.. that would be cool too.

and for people that dont design but would like to take part, Im willing to trade for other things like I said..

well i love stickers.. i like collecting them
But I really don't have stickers of my own as a designer.. so I don't think I could trade but if anyone wanna send me some.. for my collection.. let me know :-)

I was just wishing I had a really cool (and really big) sticker for my new work notebook, which has a tremendously ugly label on the front of it. I'll be happy to participate, but won't have a large quantity of designs probably because my schedule keeps me too busy to draw much. Can sticker paper be run through a color laser printer or will it melt the glue and make a mess?

well I would look at the sticker paper package, usually they will say what kind of printer the paper will work with.

Oh man, I was at Office Max today and I can get sheets of stickers printer for 70 cents a page! Woooooo! I have a student discount there, but just so you guys know Office Max (At least the one in Savannah, GA) has label paper at the print service area for printing stickers, so you dont have to buy your own packs of blank labels.

Hey guys, I was actually there for something else (bookmark and magnet creation) so I didn't have any ready to be printed. I'm heading back there on this coming Friday, so unfortunately I can't make any until then. I'll e-mail you guys my address soon and if anyone who wants some of mine could e-mail me your address at jnella20 at student dot scad dot edu I'll keep track of who wants some and mail em out as soon as I get some made! the largest is about 5" tall I would say. but Im just printing at whatever the smallest scale they can be and still look good.

I dont mind at all valor. I think your bicycle race and these trees stand tall would both make a great stickers.

Baron, you are totally forgiven.. Especially since you used the word "rubbish" which is my FAVORITE british slang term.

I didnt get mine out yesterday either. I was trying to look up postage rates to the UK, but it doesn't help if you don't know how much the envelope weighs, so I will have to go to the post office today..

So is there anybody out there that wants one or more of my designs in sticker form? I think only 'Windmill Ride' would work as a sticker (A5 sized). On second thought 'this little piggy' might work too...

I didnt get mine out today either.. I suck. Im sorry. I have my reasons.

but the mailman hasnt come to the house yet so if anyone can tell me how many stamps to throw on an 8 x 10 envelope to the UK that has the equivalent of maybe 2 or 3 sheets of paper weight in it, I still might be able to get it out.

I'm mailing out stickers to 5 people today, if you sent me your address, then Im mailing them out to you. just so everyone knows, Im sending about 7 stickers to each person. If I print more, I can send out more at a later date.

yeah. its just an extra stamp pretty much to send to the UK, not too bad at all. my email is at the top along with the rest of the active participants in this, so just email whoever you want to get stickers from with your address and whoever is willing will send you some.

I got my 'Windmill Ride' stickers printed today and they turned out great! I have 8 11cm x 11cm and 4 15cm x 15cm. For you metric systemers that's 4 and 2 stickers on letter format respectively. The best part is they let me print them for free!

So if anyone wants one of these send me an email at the above address. Oh yea and if there are any other of my designs you guys would like just yell... and then send me an email.
