As I see it, it's pretty obvious that the trend for 2010 is pop-culture references.

Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing, but it's totally happening.

i think this year we are finally seeing the pop culture mix with the high art... so i feels like there is more because the 2 are no compartmentalized

I think pop-culture references are at the lowest eb for a while. I don't think the Peanuts design winning is about the subject as such but more about the process.

Aled - it is totally true, but I'm not talking specifically about prints, I'm talking about a general atmosphere, kind of a "vibe" that at least I'm getting here lately (and that I personally got "sucked into" as well)
