I used to be positive I don't want kids, now I'm not sure. I sure as hell don't want all the battering it does to your body, plus I'm hopefully going to have a job so interesting and time-consuming that I won't have time for children. But who knows, hormones may take over my brain...

selfish? Bah! having kids just to carry on your name or because people tell you to and then neglecting the kid cos you regret having it , that's selfish. Knowing what you want and making the decision to be responsible is definitely not selfish.
I love having my daughter but its hard as shit to be a parent sometimes so if you're not into it 100% and know its what you want i don't recommend it at all.
