What Steve said. That's so cool. The coolest wild animal encounter I ever had was when my mom found an abandoned baby deer wandering around nervously in the middle of our dirt road. My dad arrived in his truck and I got to help hold the fawn in the back while we drove to meet some wild life rescue guy.

Also, today I walked beneath a red-shouldered hawk in a tree. He looked at me, and called a few times!! Skreeaw! Skreeaw! Skreeee! it was like we had "a moment"!

saw what I assume was a coopers hawk whiz between our house and the neighbor's house. I assume because they like to eat birds from the feeders

I saw a bandicoot the other day. I thought it was just a rabbit, but as I got close it didn't hop away and I realised it didn't have the long ears. I'm surprised it didn't run away. When I looked back it walked out into the raod and started trying to pick up a big piece of plastic or something. I was trying to telephatically tell it to get out of the road, but it crossed the road safely then disappeared in someone's garden. I didn't have a camera becasue I forgot my phone that day. But I love seeing crazy animals.

We get a lot of foxes in London, but they always look a bit mangy :(

Darn, I was going to one up you by saying I saw a coyote. But I didn't expect pictures of your fox, and I didn't take pictures.

we get a lot of foxes here too, but we're trained to hate them from birth as they're invasive pests and wipe out our native fauna.
