Oh, i thought it just came up when the site went down a few hours ago.
I guess you don't have to choose any of the options (I didn't), although you can only choose one maximum per category. It'd be nice to be able to choose more. But I guess if you don't specify, it's up for anything, same as always.

It's cool Threadless is giving us more control over what audience sees our designs/slogans and more input from us on what kind of style the shirt is intended for, but they're also having us do some early demographics work for the site when putting this type of info in, which I see really good uses for but also separates people's work into genres that much easier.

Shit, if the output of this place gets to 1,000+ designs to vote on a week (totally within the realm of possibility), Threadless may have to make some sort of "Threadless Pandora" (where you can click on your favorite artists so you'll more likely see their designs pop up while scoring, show shirts up for scoring more like the one's you've purchased on Threadless before,etc) may be sadly inevitable.

I'm not really sure what's the point of these choices. I have no idea, for example, what designs go over well with guys as opposed to girls. My latest design was for a couple days in the Threadless Facebook Leaderboard under the "Ladies like" list. That was cool but unexpected. (sneaky self promotion there)

What do we do if our design is equally as best for Guys, and lil' girly-s?

haha, haven't gotten to voting on it yet. Dude, I am seriously hanging on with my pinky toe to voting for the majority of designs here the last month....it's seemed there's like 300 designs to vote for a day now!!!!

I don't really like having to choose just one.

Especially since I don't know know what half of the styles are. Is crew neck a regular t-shirt? There should be helpful reminders.
