• I think threadless puts designs on its tumblr that might get noticed by people who aren't already members of the threadless site. Obviously if you follow threadless's tumblr you would be a member but maybe someone who follows you isn't. That person sees your post thinks that design is cool I want to vote on it and make sure it gets made. That person creates an account starts checking out the site maybe even buys a shirt or two. Threadless uses "interesting" designs to attract more customers to make more money. Don't forget as awesome as this site is, at the end of the day all they really owe their members is to print awesome shirts and 90% of the time they do a very good job of doing exactly that. Also they're, there, and their is very quickly dieing in our society.

• It's kind of like going to a nude beach you spend your whole life imaging how great it's going to be then once you get there it's like oh okay guess I'll go back to the regular beach but I may try coming here again later. Maybe a hot chick or two will show up later.
