It's Matlock actually but if you give me a minute just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the Prince a town called of Bel-Air... I mean I'll tell you how this works

HOW THIS WORKS:
Slogan people send a maximum of 3 slogans to sloganwars@gmail.com by 3/5/12 DO NOT POST YOUR SLOGANS ON THREADLESS WE WANT THIS TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS
Everyone participating designers and sloganeers will send me a ballot with their top 5 slogans. The top 10 will be designed by the designers. Unlike last time I'm going to let designers email me with which slogan they would like to do, but this will be on a first come first served basis.
I will be the only person who knows who submitted which slogan until results are posted and I will not vote because I don't want to have any bias.

THEME: IMAGINATION
Designing DATES: 3/20-4/9 (let me know if you need more time. I'd like everyone to submit at the same time if possible.

Prizes: 3 $25 Threadless Gift Cards 1 for top slogan and 1 for top design given to both sloganeer and designer

SW1 was a winner take all bracket of slogans only

SW2 was a combination of people voting on slogans then the top 7 slogans being turned into designs. Some of which scored really well but unfortunately none of which were printed.

If we do SW1 style we wouldn't have to mess with trying to find designers but I think SW2 would be better if we could make it work.

I would say SW2 style if we can get some designers. I'm still having trouble with getting Threadless to accept my designs or I would volunteer again. And four weeks sounds like a good amount of time to allow for signing up to me.

I'd like it to be the SW2 way and for that we need illustrators. I suggest adding the "designers signup" thing to the title of this blog. Maybe that attracts a few of them :)

Yes FMM we get a theme and then we will vote on our favorite slogans. Then we will vote on our top 5 favorites and how many ever designers there are that's how many of the top slogans will get designed.

I would love to be in for both, but I think because english is not my "Mothers language" I often have problems with the slogans, so lots of words I would love to be in as a designer if I'm allowed. Thanks to tatak for informing and this is a great mhm competition, war, idea...

Hey, sounds fun! Never took part in SloganWars, so i stil don't get a few things: how the designer are chosen/chose to make a slogan into a tee design? Also, is there any rules in making the design?

@Ragnampiza All the sloganeers will be given a topic then will submit three slogans related to that topic. After that time everyone involved both sloganeers and designers will vote on their top 5 slogans. How many ever designers we have, that amount of slogans will be designed. The designers will be given a random number before voting starts and whatever slogan places in that spot they will design.
