Yes, and if your slogan is in the top 5 you can do your own if you want. Also if any artist wants to do any slogan that isn't in the top 5 they are welcome to it.

Hi Ross, I am interested. I am more of a slogan person. I am not sure if I have understood it. Is it that you will give us a topic and we sloganeers have to write 3 slogans on that topic? Who will the slogans?

And yes, even though I'm spending less and less time on the ol' Threadblogs, I gotta support my slogan bretherin and join up on this cavalcade of wordy whismy.

Also Ross, you might wanna institute a rule like the OSC Slogan contests where you aren't allowed to vote for your own designs :)

@bandy: You will be given a topic and you will be given 3 weeks to submit your 3 slogans. Then we will have a 2 week voting period where both sloganeers and designers will be expected to vote for their top 5. The top 5 will then be designed by the designers. All designs will be submitted at the same time. The design with the highest score will win. The slogan with the highest vote total will be the slogan winner.

@Evan: Lol, this won't officially start until a couple weeks from now. The slogans will be sent to an email address and I will institute a strict no self voting policy.

@italiux the designers will be given 3 weeks after the top 5 is picked unless more time is asked for. You will only be expected to draw 1 slogan and it will be on a first come first served basis. Also every single slogan submitted will be posted up top so if you want to do a slogan that doesn't make the top 5 you are welcome to it. Everyone is going to email me their slogans and they will be posted anonymously that way voters won't be swayed in any way to vote for a specific slogan. I want to try to make this as fair as possible, and also try to get as many slogans designed as possible.

We are officially at 5 designers, if we get more interest we'll do more than a top 5 for the slogans.

I'm going to have the deadline for signup for sloganeers be October 10th. For designers I think the deadline will be a day after everyone has submitted their slogans. That way they will have some time to look at the slogans and decide if they want to do any of them.

Well if we only get 12 sloganeers that's still 36 slogans to vote a top 6 out of. Obviously I'd like more, but I'm sure we could get 6 awesome designs out of 36 slogans.

So...stats would say....if this scores high....my rendition of your slogan has a higher chance of climbing to the upper eshelon. Ok, maybe this is lame...but if you like this AT ALL....please give it a 5, to balance out all the random 0's it gets with hater attacks. Thanks.
