I would love to buy this shirt- only I think the colour is absolutely horrid! Anybody else want to petition with me to change the colour next time round?

Ah, I'm sorry you feel that way, most people dig the mint. :( How could you not love mint?!

I think if you were actually wearing it and saw how fab you looked in it you'd change your mind. :)

Actually I think the mint works really well with this. It's such a beautiful design as well.

are you effingggg kidding? don't tell me you'd prefer baby blue..

i dunno man, i think with a lot of designs you can definitely argue which ground works better with it but this design looks very much like it was purposely designed for a mint tee. i can't see it looking any more perfect on a different coloured shirt.

Thanks, glad to see other people dig it. gg is right because when I was working on the colour palette I had something very close to mint as a background and really pushed for it to be printed on mint. Baby blue is one of my most hated colours and would look awful imo! Actually, this design was part of a much larger topiary menagerie and the background was somewhere between mint and sage stone.

Speaking of sage stone, that's really the only other colour I could see working with this and at the time didn't even realize it was an option. Looks cool but I wish it was a tad darker because the stars tend to get lost. Here's a mock-up:

The Night Gardener

It's kind of funny because people have complained in the past about how all my designs are printed on creme or sand, so I guess there's no pleasing everyone! Anyway I'm super happy with the mint and it adds some much-needed colour to my line-up. :)

mint is probably the greatest color tee in the history of ever

you will not find much support in an anti mint campaign

I agree with the above, mint is a sublime colour. In fact, if this were a type tee I'd buy it:

I think sagestone would of been lovely for this too!

This tee inspired me to use mint for my next design.

Sage stone is indeed a lovely colour. Actually, I love a lot of the new colours available like dijon, cinder and galaxy and and am trying to base some of my new designs around them.

Brian - cool, can't wait to see it! :)

Yeah - I had like a seafoam in there at first but it looked pretty bad, and then when I saw that they printed yours on mint I was happy cause I thought they had dropped mint :)

Whoa! I don't know where everyone got the idea I'd like baby blue! I hate pastels! I'm also not fond of cream or sand either, igo2cairo, although I did prefer your sandstone sage colour for this design. I tend to prefer dark or bold colours though generally- black, eggplant purple, evening blue or even forest green, scarlet red is a favourite, etc. I'm picky about the colour of my t-shirts and I won't wear a lot of colours, even when the design could clearly not be on anything else- for instance I love "Attack of Literacy" and it is completely on the perfect colour for it, but I can't quite bring myself to commit to it because I know I won't wear yellow (I'm currently trying to find someone I know who would wear yellow so I can buy it for them). Anyway.

I honestly don't like the mint with this design though, and personally I'd probably have liked to have bought it on black with white and grey or dark blue as the design colours (sort of midnight and evening star type of thing). Obviously I'm in the major minority on this one though, so I guess I'll never be wearing this shirt :( Oh well, at least everyone else is enjoying it :)
