Another day, another job interview, then its back to babysitting tomorrow.

The last few I have been to I was so nervous that I was even nervous the night BEFORE the interview.

You take a person who is ordinarily quite shy and you put them in a situation where they are being evaluated and all the attention is on them and BO0OOM! not fun.

The only thing that works for me is to realize its "just another interview" and not think about it too much.
I don't win at these things anways. :)

On the upside I am having lunch in the City YEY!!

I just realized threadless is not a forum for my mundane day to day.

Well I really love the "Bowler." shirt and too be super dorky I would wear it when I go bowling. So if I get one of these proper "job" things I will purchase it!

What job are you interviewing for? Good luck! I'm hoping to get called for some interviews soon.

Threadless is totally for the mundane day to day. You just need to pose it right.

Keep this blog but tack the question: can you give me your interviews secrets? Or something similar and then you're getting the community involved (should they want to be involved).

I don't like interviews either, but I like to view it as, I know I'm a good, honest, hard worker, but these people do not know me, so they need to find out about me to know if I'm the person they want to employ. Try to not look at not getting a job as a failure, but just that you weren't as suited to that position to someone else, but there will be a job that you are better suited to.

Selecting the jobs you go for is important, if you're quiet and 'the job critera is for someone enthusiastic/outgoing/etc then chances are you are less likely to get the position if you are timid and quiet in the job interview.

Another good idea is to consider what sort of questions they are going to ask you and what you believe is an honest answer. I don't personally believe in saying anything to get a job, because if you can't fill the needs, you won't be there long anyway.

There's more tips but that's all I have for the moment considering I'm not too sure if you knew all that already.

Either way, best of luck, and be confident in knowing that you're zawezome (even if you don't believe this (as I don't believe I'm zawezome) tell yourself that you are for the job interview). If you exude confidence you are more likely to get the position, think whatever you have to convey confidence.

squeegebeckenheim The job was a junior production assistant at a magazine.

Jebbie that is zawesome advice haha, I will bear that in mind in my next interview. Its true it's all about how well suited you are to the position you can't change yourself completly in the name of a job.
