I first saw it on Ffffound. Its like an emblem from the 50s or so from a letraset.

Its black and white and says "the pantone color matching system"

google gave me this which is not what i am looking for

this is the song

Plenty For All - Hot Snakes

its punk and all i can hear is a dude yell singing "nothing to live for, nothing to lose"

the opening is like 3 notes repeating on guitar

So a little while back our CEO Tom and Jeffrey had a little bet. Now I personally am a bit fuzzy on what the bet was about, but it had some sweet payoffs.

Basically if Tom lost he had to drink a whole pint of vinegar. Tom really really really really hates vinegar. If Jeffrey lost he had to get Tom's name tattooed on him Sailor Jerry style.

Jeffrey lost.

It's been about 8 months and Jeffrey has yet to get the tattoo. So we need to give him a little push.

Heres where you come in. Help us design a tatoo in Sailor Jerry style for Jeffrey

Heres one i mocked up real

Here's Jeffrey's Flickr for some inspiration

either just a drawing works or if you want to go nuts mock it up!

I had some kind of big blog post idea for this but now im too lazy.

I've worked here for 3 years
I've been lucky to have a bunch of stuff chosen
I've almost scored 90,000 submissions
I've had a gallery show at the store
I've been to about 6 meet ups
I've met probably over 100 threadless users

Heres to 5 more

So how about we try a little experiment here. I'm completely stuck on this file and have been so busy lately I haven't had any time to work on it.

So this is where you come in. You take this file do what ever you want, at all. Redraw it, change the color, bring it into photoshop. It doesn't matter if the final result looks anything like the original. Put your own spin on it!

Once you're done email me a jpeg file back and I'll post the all results to see what kind of crazy stuff everyone can come up with

Here's the file

Email me the file when you are done at

I drew this a little while after my select. I really liked the way the feathers came out on my mayan/aztec dude and thought it would be cool to have a shirt of all feathers

At first I was just going to be lazy and copy and paste the vectors from the select file. But I decided I wanted more of a handrawn feel. I like how this one came out. that is all

Also thanks to nick beecombs band-it for the flash presentation and priscilla for the tee template and name!
