I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, and I noticed a few things different from some tutorials people gave for photoshop, but does anyone know how drastically different it is or if theres stuff i can't do on it compared to versions of photoshop others have? thanks in advance

as far as I know, Photoshop Elements is a very, very basic version of Photoshop, meant for use at home by the regular consumer. So yeah, there's lots you can't do with it :/ I don't know what the differences are exactly though, I only worked with it once and ran away in frustration because it can't handle CMYK colored files... (argh!)

But I guess there should be official tutorials for Elements specifically, maybe you can find them on the Adobe site?

thanks! yeah i know its really basic, but i wasn't even thinking to specify with tutorial searches. maybe once i have some money i'll upgrade, but hopefully it'll work for now. i'm also still new to making my sketches into graphics, so i'll just play around with it.
