Hi All,
We're currently having a tee competition here in NZ. Nothing big, or up to Threadless standards but it is for a good cause and I need your help if possible? Basically the winning design gets printed and profits from the sales go to the purchase of a defibrillator for the local area. To vote can you do the following Email office@thistlehall.org.nz And in the body you just have to list your three choices. My submissions are 30, 31 and 29 But please feel free to vote on which ever entries you prefer. You can see all submissions at http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=331131&id=751338985&fbid=10150130937558986 Thanks for you time and help
Hi All,
I could really really really use your votes and comments. I've been left behind with this whole "internet" thingy so wont be promoting in emptees, flicker, Facebook or any of that other bleep blop stuff. So I'm relying on love entirely from within Threadless - That's you guys. OH, And post yours up here as well and I will most definitely return the favor. ![]() Thanks all!
Hi all,
Just a quick question. I drew a design which is going to be used for a major band in my country. They've sent me a contract and I was wondering what is ment when they say they "recieve full production rights for use of the design" I'm happy for them to use it any way they want but could I still say post it on a forum to show others my work? I'm never planning on using it myself as the design is specific to their band. Any advice? Or is it exactly as it says..
Hi All,
I'm just trying to figure out the best way to take a sketch i've drawn and convert it into a half decent digital image to use on a tee. I have photoshop and illustrator, but not sure of the best way to go about it. Once i've scanned the drawing can can anyone give me some direction from that point. Doesn't have to be step by step as I can google the actual process. I'm not sure which will look best so I wanted to do conversions. One that basically stays looking like the original drawing and another converted into paths etc in illustratior that I can then colour as required. Any help or advice would be awesome. Cheers all.
Hey there,
I'm just wondering a few things about this TechnoCRAFT challenge and how broad or limited we really are with our designs.. Is it purely something that gets printed and in some way we need to engage the consumer. Do people have ideas of how this can be done? Of course the obvious one for me is something they complete with a marker or pen, but does this have a short lifespan, or get VERY messy. I'm just curious as to what other physical methods could be employed or could it just be the promotion of conversation. Something as simple as that. There's making stuff out of the tshirts, but personally I wouldn't want to destroy a good tee just to manipulate it into something else. I know people who are thinking of things don't want to give too much away with their own ideas, I'm just curious as to what some of the possibilities are. Anyone what to throw some ideas into the mix?
Hi All,
I'm looking for ideas in regards to the topic of this post and was wondering if anyone could throw some interesting suggestions at me. So far i've got stuff like.. TVs, mobiles, games consoles, BIG blinging watches, fancy cars, Hummers, Big name shoes *cough* Nike, Reebok, Adidas *cough* General house hole appliances that only last a year or two before needing to be replaced. stuff like that. I'm not knocking gadgets and stuff. I love it - although I don't even have a TV. But I sometimes get sick of modern appliances/gadgets. For example my washing machine died this week. Less that two years old, and it's apparently common with this model! What!?!?! What happened to the days of stuff being made to last. I know it's all about money, but hey! So there's my rant. So what things/object bug you? Thanks for your time and opinions. |
