i love cingular.

i used to hate cingular. then i got t-mobile. i'm switching back to cingular this weekend.

i'm trying to buy a new phone and no one will give me a real price, just the new contract price... and they won't let me buy off he site, even though there's a "cart"

me too. i just got verizon.

cingular didn't work anywhere especially in my dorm on this campus but verizon does. :D

my cingular used to work everywhere but i moved to jamul (the boonies of san diego) and now it doesn't work. it works everywhere else, just not at home...

huh. i guess they don't put the outright prices on the site because they're so F'IN EXPENSIVE NO ONE WOULD PAY THAT MUCH FOR A PHONE. I hate them. I should switch.

phones are that expensive everywhere the only way you can get them for a decent price is to open a new account

Wait until your contract is up and then you can switch and get a sweet phone for free

my contract isn't up for like another year. and i don't mind buying an expensive one, i just want to be able to compare and have the actual price in front of me without calling a store and requesting a price for every single phone i look at. i'm frustrated as hell.

i know someone who hates them also. I don't have cingluar, so I don't know.

There is a spot on the cingular website to shop for phones, when you click it it lets you choose "upgrade your phone". Maybe that would work? Sorry if you already tried that.

Almost every mobile phone company in the US is run by wankers.



Every phone company exploits every way possible to screw you up. The companies only give you nice things for your service when one of them decides to offer it and everyone else joins in because they don't want to be the only company that doesn't offer whatever tidbit it is.

AND it doesn't make sense to me that you put a shopping cart on your site if you aren't going to just let people buy a phone. particularly people who have a lot to do. like me. a-holes.
