Trackpad is my new lover.
My friend has even named my Mac. Welcome to this world, Bingley Mac! :)
Have you ever had one of those really really bad days?
Well I had an awful night. I was going to submit a video to the KDFC Talent Search Competition (a radio station in NorCal). The prize was to play with Lang Lang, the famous pianist. The deadline was last night and it took forever to make a 4-minute video. http://kdfc.com/KDFC-s-Classical-Star-Search/1602205 My mom first took the video but she went past four minutes and I didn't know how to edit it so I had to redo it again. The second time, my sister took it and she hit the stop button right on the 4 minute mark... when I specifically told her she could run the video for another 3 seconds. (KDFC people should not be anal/heartless.) The third time, I just couldn't do it anymore. In order to have an awesome video, the first two shots should be enough, especially if you are a musician. After that, everything goes downhill. So I spent almost 3 hours shooting a 4 minute video. Then, my sister and I found out we had to compress the video because the website specifically asked for 300 MB. At this time, it was 10 o'clock and I had a little over 400MB. So we spent almost an hour and a half attempting to compress it. We finally did compress it and had about half an hour to spare. The Video Upload Status worked but the Video Processing Status died on me. Now I end this terrible night with no hopes of winning the competition. (Just in case something happens.... I posted a Youtube video.... still uploading... grrr...) Please pray for me.
After many months after working on college applications, music auditions, senior papers, and stuff in general....
I"m back on Threadless!! (woo hoo!!) I'm also just in time for the end of the $9 sale which is good news to me. :) I got into.... SF Conservatory of Music UC Irvine San Francisco State University University of the Pacific Just waiting for.... Oberlin and UC Berkeley! :)
Dear Everyone,
So my dear friend Danny will be submitting a design soon and he thinks it would be fun for me to be his t-shirt model when he submits it. Questions: 1. Exactly how do you submit yourself as a model? Do I have to download something special or upload something? The better question is... do I have to be part of something to put myself as a candidate for a t-shirt model?? 2. If you can answer #1, how do you switch colors on the tee? If you can help answer these questions, thank you! :)
YES! LEGAL!! not really... I'm excited but I'm not out to buy anything illegal... yet... maybe a lotto ticket for now and vote. (heck yes!) :D
omg. So first off, I haven't watched this infamous video yet so I'm asking you guys.... exactly what is it?! I've watched several youtube video reactions towards the video and they've been pretty hilarious. This would be my favorite:
Explain please because the most I can get out of my friends is "DON'T WATCH IT!!!!" -shields my eyes-
Out with the old and in with the new! It's time for me to refresh my New Years Resolutions and actually resolve them once and for all.
1. Comment on Critiques at Threadless as much as I comment in Blogs. :] 2. Get a 3.8 GPA and try to understand Physics... even though I'll never major in the Science field. 3. Be braver (like donating more blood or something... the first time I donated blood didn't go so well but at least I saved 3 lives.) 4. Enjoy the simple things in life and not to look back at regrets. 5. Make my last year in high school memorable! Good-bye 2007, WELCOME 2008!! [Add your New Years Resolution(s) if you want.]
I'm trying to buy a tee for my sister today and get it shipped out tomorrow to arrive by next Thursday (since her birthday is next Saturday). If anyone is buying a tee, I would greatly appreciate it if you would lend me 2 STPs.
I have a $12 in STPs and I need at least $14.50 for a Girly L. I will definitely STP you back. (Please, no more than 1 person STPing me or I would have to figure out a way to STP tons of ppl) :) Please and Thank you!! -Christine aka Christoooofus
I honestly wonder what you guys think of me.
I've only been on Threadless for less than three months yet I feel like I know everyone (which could be bad or good). I know Maltz is going to make a snide remark on my blog or he'll say something like "no i won't". lol :) Either way, I honestly love how welcoming Threadless is. (I know at this point everyone is creeped out) but here are the people I feel I kinda know better since I started Threadless: 1. goldensara- she and I were planning to share the tees on that amazing 1 millionth tee win (that Jublin won) :) She's almost like an older sister to me. 2. phyntosia- we shared complaints about school during the beginning of thriftee sales. She's so cool! 3. Maltz- he is exactly like the pesky older brother I will never have, but wish I can have. (and he looks like my friend from school!!) I love his attitude. 4. Frickinawesome- He's EVERYWHERE on Threadless. I'm not even kidding. He's really nice and likes making people feel welcome on Threadless. 5. littlem- She is the first person who posted on my first blog ever. I don't converse with her over blogs but she's a cool lady. 6. artdrops- He's another person I wish I can talk to more; if he remembers the blog with the count-up to 1,000,000 tees, he was really a nice guy. 7. the czar- You randomly show up on my blogs and give extremely helpful tips. haha :) There are so many more people... But the point is, thank you guys for making me feel welcome on Threadless. I do my best scoring people fairly and giving comments on critiques. I've been on this site every single day since I joined and I still have fun posting on people's blogs and buying cool tees. :)
It's true, college apps do suck, especially the essay portion. EGAD. Everything is due on Friday but since servers might be busy, I'm planning to finish everything today.
(Yay for another night of no sleep!) |
I am a senior in high school with an active imagination. :) I also love playing the cello and drawing in my spare time. I also like to walk around and shop at SF.
