well i like the shirt but you know, America is not the centre of the universe!! would have been more cool if all the countries were on the front of the shirt instead of stuck under the armpit.......

It is absolutely appalling that anybody actually feels the need to whine about this shirt just because the Western hemisphere is on the front. Why not whine about putting the Northern hemisphere on top while you're at it? Obviously that's proof of a U.S. conspiracy of some kind, right?

Lunatic.

America loses. This is a classic case of isolationism. Might as well have cut the rest of the world off the design. Terrible foreign policy, Threadless!

I have to agree with triffideaters, I would have considered buying this shirt if the design was centralised.

the only reason I plan on buying this is to have Europe under my armpit...

but none has even noticed the more sublime middle east being on one's back

fatheed

Shouldn't turn your back on the Middle East.

Oh, sorry. You already did.

It would have been nicer if it could be more continuous, because the Earth is round but I couldn''t care less about who's on the front.

I wish it wrapped completely around. That would justify buying it. :)

I immediately thought of maddingo.

I wish he'd spelled 'BRIAN'. I loled at 'MORANS', but 'BRAIN' would have tipped me over the edge.

Personally as a European, I will enjoy spilling my dinner/Beer etc all down USA.

As for the pic (3 comments above) I'm not taking advice off anybody with a mustache and mullet!

As there's likely to be a higher percentage of Americans buying this t-shirt than the rest of the world - due to it being an American based company - perhaps they wouldn't have realised it was a map of the world had the USA not been at the centre of the t-shirt...?
Canada's next to your heart and America's where your stomach is, but at least we're not quite in the armpit, just by your side!

Would actually be pretty sick if it wrapped all the way around like Fatheed mentioned.

Everyone know that the Greenwich Meridian is the Centre of the Atlas. This Map demonstrates so.

I was about to buy it, until I saw the placement. Being Australian, there's no way I'd wear something with the US front and centre. Sure, wear it if you're "American and proud", you can keep it. Shame though, being such a cool design.
