I sill have this screwball press (an USA screenprinter)certificate floating about here, an I'm thinking to have posters printed there.

So I want to ask them for a price quote, but have no idea about the common sizes in (gig type) posters in the US.

In Eurpoe there's the A3/A2/A1/A0 system, but I assume it's different in the US?
Can someone clue me in so I don't waste some customers service dude with stooooopid enquiries?
Cheers, lads/ladettes.

full-size poster is 20"x30".
also 11"x17"
and i seem to have one that's 17.5"x23.5"... don't know if that's standard.

ahh, thanks, stalliongsta.

would your reckon people prefer a bigger (20x30) one rather than a smaller one?
threadless ones are 18" x 24" is that somewhat standard too?

18"x24" is probably more standard than 17.5"x23.5". but that's a guess. i don't design a lot of posters; i just used to buy a lot of them.
