[ODDICA] I hate to blog about another t-shirt company, but...
What amazing customer service.

I wrote the following on Preshrunk:

I really wanted to buy some shirts but I absolutely hate the Oddica tag they stick on the shirt somewhere. Sorry, nice try but no way.

kaiva quickly responded with:

Three designs have ‘Oddica’ omitted — Above it All, Ping Pong Pwnt, and The Undertaker. We understand the concern Matt and Derrick because we wrestled with it. Sorry to disappoint; if you like future designs that we have scheduled to print, contact me and we’ll get you a version without ‘Oddica’ on it.

I think they will definitely be getting my next $40 tshirt money... especially since Lavallee has TWO new prints coming, and nothing has really impressed me off Threadless lately besides Final Flight and Happy Chaos.

Threadless is still great but, Oddica has got me really excited.

I was also really disappointed with the logo on the shirts, actually I'm the Matt that kaiva is referring to in that post along with you. I ordered a couple shirts anyway since they were so cheap but in the future I'll definitely see if they'll print them without the logo. It definitely looks like Threadless may have a little compitition for my tshirt money.

It amuses me when people get uptight about a named label. If someone is doing something I like, I have no problem pimping (or whoring) it. Let me ask you this, do you take all of the tags and labels off of all of your pants, shorts and shoes? Do you pour your drinks into a blank plastic cup? Do you remove all badging from your vehicle of choice? Why have you listed the names of the bands that you like over there? You're just advertising for them, for free. Do you have any issues with other things, or is it only t-shirts that really piss you off?

Yeah, the logos are abit much, but they have some nice designs. I too think they will be getting my next shirt $$.

Oddica have some interesting designs, little more left field perhaps than what I can get here.

Sometimes labels can be obtrusive, smaller labels can at times be nice, I'm not overly into being a billboard for a company..

It's just tshirts for me. They're the one item of clothing that I actually put any thought into when buying and I take pride in the fact that I have cool shirts. It's not the advertising that bothers me, if anyone ever asks where I got my shirts I'll happily tell them, but I find logos distract from the design.

daddydom... None of my shit has logos all over it. Especially my clothes, if it does I simply don't buy it. Hell I drink coke like the rest of us, but thats only for half an hour, not something I am going to treasurefor ages.
