i was watching cnn the other day, and the two correspondents were talking about the canadian dollar on the rise, and they were like


"Hey Susan (I dont remember her real name, but she actually looked alot like Nancy Grace. [who i hate!])! Guess what the CANADIANS call their dollar?"

"Oh paul, I am making seductive eyes at you! I haven't the slightest idea!"

"They call it a LOONIE. Isn't that funny?"

"Ha! Ha! Ha! You are just full of wit!"

"And guess what they call $2!"

"I can't guess!"

"A TWOONIE!

"Oh my! I am just ROLLING on the floor with laughter"

"So, now that we're through with that, lets talk about another Country's economy!"

"Like Dubai!"

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Dubai is a blah blah blah"

[DUBAI IS A CITY, ROTFL.

CNN is such a joke.
I'd totally stop watching it for good, if it wasn't for that foxy Anderson Cooper!

tonteau, the canadian dollar is now worth either the same or more than the american dollar depending on how stupid I am. this is the first time in like a million years.




but now all their books are way more expensive because when it says $12.99CAN $11.99US it's all the same money

I was working at Tim Hortons (YUP I'm Canadian!) and a guy decided to pay with American money which isnt a problem, we just press a button that does the exchange. he gave me $5 US, for a his total of $4(ish). It said that he owed a certain amount of money and I thought it was a mistake so I got my supervisor..........anyhow HE OWED me money, I was like "this is a first". Anyhow thats my story, sorry if its crappy but it was a surprising event.
