Rip Off shirt! Lame!

Damn! Lots of ppl get rich by rip off Threadless shirts in Asia. Threadless designs are very popular here, but all printed in others brand. This surely a huge loss to Threadless and the designers, Maybe Threadless should consider have a branch in Asia.

It happened to spacesick, except his design wasn't even printed on Threadless.

It's green because it's a rip off. Apparently that type of thing is big in Asia.

a lot of asian countries don't comply with copyright laws, because they have none, so i think most of the time there's nothing that can be done about these rip offs :( but maybe threadless has special powers???

I think it was on Thai TV and they're signatories to the Berne Convention so I think they'd be breaking the law by ripping people off, it's just bootlegging. I think the trouble is finding them.

I think Spacesick's was on Thai TV, but same rules should apply for the rip-offs in Malaysia too. I don't think we'll ever stop the bootleggers, but the Tv producers should be taking more responsibility. They shouldn't let the cast dress themselves, it should be handled by a wardrobe department and they should know whether they're getting their clothes from reputable sources.

the one i saw is the printed one, but when the time i visit bangkok, that design not yet printed in Threadless.

I saw lots of unprinted designs there too.

I've seen a few ripped off Threadless tees here in South Africa too...it just isn't the same as the real thing, really sad considering it cost basically the same as ordering the Threadless tee.

hmmmm.... i love all the tees in threadless, but i live in malaysia and the price+shipping rate after converting is quite pricey. i think that threadless stores should consider about going global.
