THREADLESS DAY SYDNEY MEETUP!

SYDNEY MEETUP

Hey all. It would be really great to meet alot of you, so I've started planning the Sydney meetup. I'd really love it if alot of folks came from further afeild than Sydney, but I am realistic as there's a Brisbane and Canberra meet up also.

Hope to see some of you sign up. Especially if you are traveling through Australia at the time.

REAGS: time will be 1pm, Sat 2nd of April (as it'll coincide with 6pm-ish Chicago meet up) and will be in a downtown Sydney Bar. I just don;t have time this week to email and call bars, but llike the post says, somewhere for a drink and draw maybe?

simo and i have discussed it, it' may be possible if the boss is on board to fly up but i also have a trip planned for a similar time surfing the south coast of NSW, if we head higher than ulladulla a stop over is possible...

if neither of these end up possible maybe a melbourne one...

Ok, so after ringing alot of garden bars and rooftop bars (most were either booked, closed til evening, an one wanted a minimum spend of $3000) I have located it close to Circular Quay station. They have penciled us in, and depending on weather etc closer to the day, we will be at the SHIP INN

I can hear Jebbie groaning from here, as it's a little touristy, but it local and one I knew and they were very friendly when I called.

Ok, so here's some news. If we can get 50 people committed to this then guest number 51 will be Threadless staffer, and my friend, Joe Van Wettering, aka speedyjvw.

We need the numbers committed to the event posting, and this can include your friends as a 'plus one' etc. Come on, lets get Joe to Sydney!

Of course. My roomate needed a passport in 2 days. Had to expedite and pay a crap extra, but it got there.

You can get a passport in a day if you need to, it just costs a bit (a lot) more.
