It's not the designer who screwed up, it's the photographer. If the board were a tight board with no free vowels, that set of letters would indeed really suck.



At least if you had all vowels (and the board were really bad), you could make words like ie, ae, oe, aa, etc. to use up those letters without trading them in.

I think the shirt is designed for the average scrabble player to appreciate. There is not an immediate word that reveals itself to most people. Sabe?

lol, why so serious? My whole family are Scrabble maniacs, and while we appreciate a good qat, we also appreciate a tough rack that's well-played. Perfect birthday gift for my mom!

That rack is indeed terrible. There is no way they will win Uno with that!

While I realize that an avid Scrabble player could make a decent amount of points off of this rack (I once won a game of Scrabble with the word "qi"), it's pretty comical how seriously people take their board games.



Really, you guys are way over-analyzing this. The point is that any NORMAL person would have a hell of a time making a word out of those letters without cracking a dictionary. How many non-Scrabble players know that "za," "wo," or "xi" are actual words, let alone what they mean?



It's a simple joke. Don't over-think it.
