Nothing will eclipse the power of all these talented musicians banding together under the Can-eh-dian first rock superpower known as Broken Social Scene. The last time i saw them they were two shows away from calling it quits until everyone's solo jones had been quenched, and everyone but Ms. Feisty was present for the event. Almost three hours later, I had my mouth open as far as it could go but i wasn't making a peep. They were still performing, and it kept getting BETTER.

In other news, fuck Modest Mouse.

why do you have say on who's got the capacity for music? Who cares if someone knows a band has 9 albums, but doesn't know the names of them? I own one beatles album, and I don't know all the titles to all the beatles albums. Do I not have the capacity to enjoy the Beatles? I don't mind your opinion at all, I'm just playing devils advocate.

it was two different subjects

by capacity i meant in the nurtured sense - somebody raised into a hip-hop home isn't going to feel comfortable in the pop/crooning world, and vice versa

I find that odd, because you love Regina Spektor.

Not that they're terribly similar, but when I hear Regina Spektor, I hear second-rate Feist.
