Design dropped early - Three times!

Well... I'm really sad with this.
I think people didn't like my designs... The Girly Girl, Pirate Skeleton and now Bubble Gum was dropped early at votation. They can't continue for all 7 days.

So... I think I will not post designs so much. I'm tired. I have a lot of works to do, and this spends all my time - for nothing.

I have more one design in votation: Vodoo Doll. I hope people likes that. And I have one pending design: Bad Reception.

I made it with my new Threadless friend, Alex. She had the idea, and I made the design. Well, let's wait.

I really don't care with this. I will make my own t-shirts to sell. So, I will just post here, If I have a good idea. I will just make friends here and post my blogs.

So, I think people there don't like to meetings... Just some people comments here, and I really want to have friends from outside of Brazil.

Oh, and If you want to do like Alex, I can help you! I could make designs, if you have ideas and don't know to make it ^^.

I think you also have a good style but from the little time i have around here i have noticed that thisi s more about trends and public opinion as well as colectivness, design also has alot to do but refer to "trends" their very colective HOWEVER like i have mentioned several times one thing is to base a public and personal opinion and another is to say " this is a good design for this reasons.."

Personally when i judge ppl i judge them on design alone not if i like it or not, i think we should all remember we are voting on design, not so much on how marketable that design really is.... (i think)

I think the biggest mistake new designers make is not reviewing the shirts Threadless has printed in the past. A designer (or design afficiando) can learn much about the style preferences of Threadless buyers through the collection.

Also, if you haven't done so, I strongly suggest using the critique section. Next time, submit your idea to critique first, which allows you to receive feedback without going into the actual voting stage -- it is usually frowned upon to resubmit designs to competition unless substantial changes are made.

You have a nice style, so don't give up. just have fun with it. I had lots of designs dropped early and never really expected to get printed... I just kept doing it for fun and practice, drawing what I liked.

The critique section doesn't really have very many participants, so it's difficult to get any substantial feedback. sometimes designs seem to get weaker (to me, anyway) as they filter down through the critiques.

Thanks!!! Well I saw them all and gave them all big fat $5!!! Well your going to have to keep trying and you will get it!!! Maybe our mole will be so lucky??? Keep your fingers crossed...,you are an amazing artist!!

Well... Thanks folks for all words you said to me.
This comforted me, and I will try again...
But, not with the intensity that I was doing.
Because now I don't have time.
I will do as foundnickens said: post before at critiques.
And just post one design when I have one idea for Threadless, and not for me.
Because I learned that Threadless t-shirts are conception, and not good drawings.
So, thank you very much!

Not that it matters now, but while it was in the running, I gave the bubble-gum a 4. That's really good coming from me. Look at my average. (I think I tend to be a little overly critical...)
