Threadless Thanks So Much!!

I just wanted to thank Threadless for selecting me and David to come and present to you all. It was such an honor and I will not forget that experience. I hope that you all walked away with a little more insight and possibly a little inspiration.

Our goal was to get one point across and not bore the shit out of you in the process of doing so. We owe so much to Threadless and to the community and we hope to keep creating and hopefully swing the light back on this amazing community of incredibly talented artists and creatives. You are a big driver for what and why we do what we do.

It was definitely a great experience to hear what you guys had to say. You and David are some of the most clever and forward thinking designers here, and it's awesome to see you guys getting recognized for that. The presentation was great: the art pieces you guys showed (both 'drawn' and photographed) were super fresh, and the one thing I took out of that was to not get boxed in as a designer/artist. The thing I'm going to start striving for (both with Threadless and personal work) is to think outside the perimeters I've put myself in and try to do something new and fun that lots of audiences can relate to. Hey, look where hand painting peanuts has gotten you!
Again, congrats on the killer presentation (the snuggies were an awesome touch), and I look forward to many more awesome pieces from you (and David) in the future.

Holy crap you guys thanks so much! Can't tell you how much it means to me that you all are talking about leaving the computer and trying new things outside your specialties. It is a very surreal moment to be on a stage this big in front of a community full of killer creatives and imagine that we could influence that community to do more and push harder.

I am pretty damn sure we could take over the world so long as we keep propping each other up. You all are the best!!!

Phil, you guys pumped me up so much that I haven't been able to sleep for days; I can't help but stay up and create create create. I'm starting to hallucinate but can't sleep because there are so many ideas seeping through my face pores. You're ruining my life. I hate you.

So cool seeing you again and listening to awesome hip-hop whilst being extremely entertained by yous two Minnesooootan folk. You guys really inspired me to do more with the environment around me and get outside my comfort zone of wanting to do more interactive pieces. It's a damned shame I was waiting for both of you to end the epic fast-forwarded shirt wearing competition with one another with your All Seeing Eye collab...then David told me later you guys high-fived right when the video conked out for a second! You gotta post the video later on so we can see what you guys stayed up till 3 in the morning to perfect :)

Oh, and thanks for the most effective verbal smack in the balls of the weekend when I talked about doing my presentation and you said, "Why don't you write it out like a Threadless collab and get someone else to do it for you?"
