This is probably really whorish of me to do here, but you know, I figure some of you would be interested. I'm having a Back to School Sale at my website. Take 20% Off everything in Stock and all orders over $100.00 get an additional 10% off.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I really like Bonsai?.
I think I might by it sometime.
When will the sale end?
I need to see if I can find a way to get some money.

cool stuff.
how do you do it?
do you have a screenprinting system or what?
SteveRosswick
SteveRosswick on Aug 03 '05 at 4:33pm
Rinzii - Some of the designs are screened and some of them are printed directly onto the shirt using a sublimation process. The latter of the two works well for more than 3 colors and if you have really intricate detail on the artwork. The sublimation deal is great because after a washing or two you can barely feel it, and it lasts a loong time.

I'm excited, I bought True Love, Bonsai in Yellow and the one with the LEAF on it this morning! When should I be expecting them in the mail?

Very nice shirts. I might buy some. Except I spotted an error on your site. It wont let me add an extra small 1984 into my cart.
SteveRosswick
SteveRosswick on Aug 04 '05 at 7:48pm
OkImSittingDown: Thanks for the purchase! You should get your shirt within a few weeks. If you live in the USA, which if I remember correctly you do, it should be there probably next week sometime.

BlahBlahBlahShutUp: Wow, good find. I didn't realize the syntax was messed up on that. I was wondering why that one hadn't sold in awhile, lol. Problem should be corrected now. Thanks for letting me know.

Shippings a bitch on your site. While Threadless charges 2.50 for one shirt, your site charges $4.85.
BlahBlahBlahShutUp
BlahBlahBlahShutUp on Aug 04 '05 at 7:53pm
If it such a great find, shouldn't I be able to get another discount? I AM helping you boost sales for that shirt.
SteveRosswick
SteveRosswick on Aug 04 '05 at 7:55pm
Yeah, I admit my shipping is pretty lame, but I use USPS Priority Mail which usually arrives in the Continental US within 3 (or barring a tragedy) 4 days, and Internationally in about a week or 10 days. Threadless I heard takes awhile to get the product to the front door..

Email me steve@steverosswick.com and I'll see if we can work something out for pointing out that error.
BlahBlahBlahShutUp
BlahBlahBlahShutUp on Aug 04 '05 at 8:02pm
Threadless is still cheaper. I, like most people, am in no big hurry to get the product at my door. I have other shirts that I can wear, it's not like I only have one shirt.

how small are the x-small shirts? i mean .. compared to threadless girly small sizes [i cant seem to figure out how the size chart works xP]
SteveRosswick
SteveRosswick on Aug 07 '05 at 9:04pm
The X-Small shirts are equivalent to a Ladies Medium.

(Measurments are CHEST WIDTH x SHIRT HEIGHT)

My X-Small: 16 x 24

AA Girly SMALL: 15.5 x 24.375
AA Girly MEDIUM: 16.5 x 25.5

Keep in mind that the AA shirts shrink up to an Inch all the way around and mine wont. So my shirt will end up being about the same as a Shrunk AA M/OS.

I hope this helps. If not, let me know I'm dumb and I'll do better, lol.

I'm in love with the boxing shirt, but not the shipping costs. Too bad there's no error for me to point out.

(And there's something about that grapes shirt too .. <3)

MoniqueH on Aug 07 '05 at 9:41pm
Do they go by the price listed or do you take off another 20%?

I don't think shipping is too bad, everyone is just spoiled because Threadless doesn't charge that much.

MoniqueH on Aug 07 '05 at 9:48pm
Oh, I like your converting a customer picture, it's funny.
eusticity

Yes, I'm so spoiled to want decent shipping charges on shirts I already think are overpriced.

your site looks cool

it's cool that you do polos, you ought to try a few other colors too
SteveRosswick
SteveRosswick on Aug 07 '05 at 10:10pm
Monique: Take 20% off the Price Listed. The price shown is just the regular price.

Eusticity: I'm glad you like my Boxing shirt, but unfortunatley, I'm pretty middle-of-the-road with my shipping. Threadless charges $2.50 to ship, but it takes a few weeks. Other companies charge US customers close to $10 to ship T-Shirts, and it takes about a week. I charge $4.00 which is actual cost, and it takes 3-6 days depending on where you live. Do you think my shirts are overpriced? They're only $1 more than Threadless, or $1 cheaper than threadless, depending on your gender. If you mean the Boxing shirt, that was produced using only halftones, and there were only about 5 of each size made, so I bumped the price up because of exclusivity.

I'm .. crabby. Apologies.

Yes, I meant the boxing shirt, and it's understood to match your effort and overhead. And it twould be a dollar cheaper for me, which is keen. It is lovely.

Thanks guys for the wonderful feedback!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I got a shipment of American Apparel Tees that I'm doing a 'test' run (so to speak) with. They're a little more expensive, but they're AA, and the quantities are pretty limited. The designs I've printed on the AA shirts have (Printed on American Apparel) under the color swatch.

Thanks!

just curious Steve, what does Threadless think of you doing business on their blog site? I'm fairly new to Threadlessville, so maybe you have something worked out with them??? yeah?

Threadless sells out anyways.

I purchased Hawaiian Sunset, and the total price came to $16 and how many cents. I'm pleased and I await the shirt's arrival.
