So after reading several lengthy threads about what size hoodie to get and how they match up to the t-shirts, I ordered an XL hoodie (normally wear a large t-shirt) and crossed my fingers. Got this in the mail today, and it looks good--but it's also obviously way too big! I can wear a regular-fitting zip-up hoodie under it with plenty of room to spare, and the bottom of the hoodie falls to my upper thighs. I haven't washed it yet but I don't think it'll shrink so much that it'll magically fit!

So if anyone out there has found their large hoodie to be too small, wanna trade? Otherwise this puppy may have to go back to Chicago...

Wow. You've been here for a while.

I tried on the first hoodie I bought for my girlfriend (it was a Large) and found it to be a good fit, but the arms were a bit too short for my taste. I usually wear a Large tee, but I'm 6'2" and have gangly arms.

All the hoodies I buy for myself are XL, and while a bit bigger around, they have the arm length I like. I don't think I'd be able to fit a whole other hoodie under them comfortably, though.

I hope you get it worked out.

Yeah, 5'10" and not-so-gangly arms doesn't work out so well with the XLs. The arms are a bit long but not too bad, it's just everything else that's too big. I'd look a bit like an extra from Flashdance if I had leg warmers, a headband and, um, breasts.

Guess there's no real chance they hold onto a couple of each size for issues like these? Ah well.
