• Dubai Artist - Defensive much? Did you bother taking a look around these boards before you started submitting. People can be harsh, and are often tough judges. That's why things are so competitive. You're taking things too personally, and I agree wholeheartedly with Miss Melissa.
  
  Your work isn't judged solely on whether it is 'beautiful' or not, or how much tome you put into the watercolor. Your work isn't being looked at as only art, but as a design for a shirt that is being made for people to BUY. If they've seen a shirt like this for sale before, they are going to tell you so not to denote your work, but to let you know it wouldn't be marketable. When they say that the flowers and the outline of the women's body are commercial, they don't mean that they don't appreciate the beauty, they mean that they think it's been done already, and believe me it has.
