Go to classes, read or at least skim your texts. Talk to people in your classes---they'll be more fun if you all know each other. Make sure you have ample sobriety time. Join a student organization or club to meet people if you have a difficult time getting to know others. Smile at people when you walk.

don't believe everything they teach you.

yeah I always got at least one cell number of someone in my classes just in case..



Also, don't believe that everything they teach you will get you a job.



a college education is a skeleton for a job, there's no meat on the bones. Definitely look into internships or other opportunities to show you have usable knowledge about the field you want to go into

Most upperclass guys go after freshmen girls because they put out.....I'm just saying. Interpret this in your own way :)

lol seriously though, don't neglect work, diet, etc. Usually the first month or so the 1st years are too busy trying to have fun, etc. and by the time things get serious they're in a shitty situation. Don't let that happen.
