I was wonderin' what y'alls favorite part of the muffin is, because I have heard the tops are the most popular but I am not so sure about that...

i'm pretty fond of bottoms but just around the edge of the top is good too. i guess you'd call it the hips.

When I was a baker at a yuppie grocery store, we had these shallow muffin pans that would bake only the "tops".

I've tried those separate muffin tops, but they aren't the same. There's something about the attachment of stump to top that makes it so delicious.

I'd recommend upside-down muffin-eating to anyone who wants to save the top for last, but it is a bit messy.

or you could make muffins, seperate the tops and bottoms and give the tops to the people who love tops and the bottoms to the people who love bottoms.

Oh, and I don't like muffins, but if I had to choose I'd pick the top, because most of the times the bottom sticks to the paper or pan.
