I bought this for my highschooler brother---but then I thought, is dope a school appropriate word? Yeah I know it means cool but people can be so uptight these days.

I think it's totally cool, it's pretty obvious what dope means on the shirt or whatever, and it's not horrible.

it depends lol. 2 dudes sitting on a couch talking about drugs? Not far fetched. But really any kid that gets close enough to a teacher so they can read that has more troubles then that.

I wear mine to school.

If people misinterpret dope for drugs then it's their own fault. Then again, if it matters I'm in Canada, concerning their earlier remark by mboones05 that you're in Texas.

yeah i am not the type to stir up trouble but if my fictional child got sent home for wearing this shirt, i would kill the principals grandmother that dismissed my offspring! society is going too far, you can't censor me and my own, let the children play in fields of amber... colored suburbia and the crimson wash of brick old city living, drab splashes of blue cover our belongings and I don't know if any of this is true but I believe it and that is what makes me human so keep your rules and limitations away from my body and may all children wear misinterpreted drug innuendo's on their shirts until the use of primitive shirts becomes obsolete and we are all walking around in the nude with hallo-graphic projected clothing and maybe a thin Teflon coating so we aren't spreading our naked body gross-nasties all over the place

Wow. I am really amazed that anyone would ever think of this t-shirt being inappropriate in any matter! Even if it was a t-shirt concerning drugs, why would it be a problem to wear?

From this side of the world, USA is starting to look more and more like good old Sovjet. I at least have the impression that the government and leadership is censoring everything. When I watch American tv-shows there is a beep every five seconds because everything concerning bodily functions or human contact is considered dirty. And they even blur infants body parts, that triggers sexual relations amongst everyone and not just the minority of the pedophiles thats around.

I have a lot more examples that I cant think of now, but my point is as descartes said; Only in America would this be a concern...

I wore mine throughout my senior year of high school. In America, no less. No trouble from the administration whatsoever.

I'm wearing it to school when I get it....and school starts. And if our devil of a activities coordinator ruins my life for the third or fourth time by making me change (the other times she ruined my life were more relevant to my happiness), the plus side is that the shirt they give you to replace it says COBRAS-PANTHERS-LIGHTNING-FLOOD-TEXTING in neon letters. So, you know. Win-win. But I'll also probably get enraged and start a petition to reexamine out school's censorship policies.

I think a girl could get away with charging sexual harassment if a teacher was looking THAT CLOSELY to their shirt. Seriously, the print is rather small and it's not glorifying drugs (the general rule is that the shirt can't GLORIFY drugs)
