Ohai!
I haven't really being doing much drawing lately, well i have, but not for shirts. Anyway, I've had this idea for a while and I finally sketched it out. It's supposed to be a cat dressed up as an elephant... Does it come across alright? Should it be more realistic and less cartoony? Please give me your thoughts :3 Thinking of calling it "Everybody wants to be an elephant"... like the song... everybody wants to be a cat... yeah. image urlopinions
Ohai! I haven't been on threadless very much lately... school and what not. But i've had a bug to do another shirt design! I had a quick question for you guys though. I would really love to use either just pencil or some colored pencils to do the full design, how then would i make it into a shirt?
Any tutorials or blogs that you can point me to would also be helpful! I searched around but couldn't find much. thanks
Hey :D
So i went with one of the ideas from my idea blog... the pony one... I don't have a title for it yet xD So thoughts on that are helpful as well. Based off a line from the movie Horton Hears A Who "In my world, everyone's a pony, and they all eat rainbows and poop butterflies!"
Let me know what you think.
I was thinking of calling it icicle... image urlNext one... Idea stemmed from a line in Horton Hears a Who (the movie, not the book it was based on) "In my world, everyone's a pony, and they all eat rainbows and poop butterflies!" soyeah... Has it been done or should it never be done? :O image urlthird one... Double hug! So the person you are hugging will be double hugged :3 image url
I was going to give up on this series, but i still wanted to give little Anita one last chance. So i changed her face so it looks more like a face, made the lines brown, and i distressed the pattern and dress. Thoughts?
Okay, so my past submissions have had a problem with concept and execution. I'm altering the way i go about making them to try and make a better design. I really like the character Ophelia from Hamlet, and i thought she needed to be on a shirt! I've only sketched it out and started some lines, I'm going to keep this blog and update along the way, any feedback is welcomed! :D
Here's the sketch, I've only done the lines on the face and fish... ![]() Here's the lines I've done so far, yes or no?
ohai...
I will not give up on you Hummingboy! I've been working on a series of sorts... of these kids in costumes, i really like them for kid shirts... anyway, here's one that i let fall to the wayside Thoughts? :o And just for placement on the shirt, this is the way the image used to look...
Hello there :3 I'm relatively new to the blogs here and i have been spending a lot of time in the critique section, helping people out and what not. A couple people had said that i was spamming. I have not spammed, and if I have, it wasn't on purpose. Every comment i leave is genuine and i respond to the blog/critique. I didn't think making a comment (with substance) and slipping in a link to my submission was a big deal.
Don't want to get off on the wrong foot here, I'd really like to be a part of this community :3 So let's start over... HAI! I'm Rachel :3 |
