how do you change flash transitions?

I am using adobe cs4 with the threadless template someone kindly posted on here, but I want to move the buttons around and make it so if you run the cursor over one the next slide appears suddenly, not sliding over. Also, how do you change the name of the buttons? You can see the project I am working on here:

Well I think you need to change the picture for the buttons to change the name since I assume they are images.

and then to change the action on the buttons so its *tries to remember*

I think this it is:

on(rollOver){

GoToAndStop(framenumber);

}

something like that XD

no it doesn't work like that in manos' template you have to change the horizontal x values of the container (I think), somewhere in there you'll see some script to do with changing the x values of the movie clip when clicking on the buttons and you'll have to change that to something to an actual number rather than an equation. Sorry I can't really be more specific, this is based on assumptions from what I can see in your critique, and my flash skills are a bit rusty

I was just going off of basic stuffs, thats all I really know since I only took 1 semester of Flash....hah. Since I never looked at his template.

Thanks , I will try that. It stinks, because at least with photoshop there are a lot of sites with info, but none for flash. I'll keep trying.
