Today we lost several people at my work and it's the last thing anyone wanted to see happen. And then I saw this happen to one of our competitors, 45 people lost their jobs at REEF, that's basically the entire company.

I listen to Market Place on the way home each day, as I have a 30min - 45min drive, and before the holidays they had plenty of stories about people being layed off, lay off parties, etc etc etc.... I can only see it getting worse and I just hope I'm not living in a shanty town by the end of it all.

I have no faith in Obama any more as he voted to give the banks billions to save their asses while the rest of us are getting fucked.
