What's that other site like Society 6?

Society 6 posters: Quality and already printed by T-less legality?

1) What is the quality of the Society 6 posters?

2) If I had a print that was once a poster printed by Threadless, but there is no more stock, can I post it to Society 6?

3) Not really a money maker from the percentages I saw, but they have a lot of different applications. Not sure if I have a question on this one.

2. I believe you can post posters any time as threadless only cover apparel rights - I post when I have one for scoring :)

But then I read your question again I realized I read it wrong, just email threadless to clarify :))

3. Not really a money maker indeed but if there's a steady stream of buyers for a specific design, it's worth a go

I've been really pleased with the quality of the prints i've gotten- all of my own work. Though I don't really have much experience with prints so I don't have anything to compare to.

I don't usually post my new designs up there purely because I'm not sure if it'll turn off other potential t-shirt sites/buyers. But as far as Threadless goes it's all good.

I re-read Q.2 - I think it should be sweet because threadless no longer do their own poster prints.

Quality: You can find a local print shop to print it just as well if not better, and for a lot less. That is if you want some copies for yourself.

Post an art print frequently, get it them on the front page and your number of sales will go up.

no, it was another one, just posters. I think ilovedoodle or someone like that was on it. The percentage back to the artist was way better than S6.

No, didn't know that, biotwist. INPRINT was half of the wholesale price goes to the artist, does S6 have that?

Then the next question is, who has the best quality.

no clue on that.

but s6 doesnt let you choose your % on items like shirts/iphone cases etc. Those are fixed at 10%. it only lets you choose the price of your prints.

I hardly make anything at society6, but I know the top earners pull in about 2 grand a month. My brother makes almost $1,000 a month, so it is worthwhile if you get a few hot sellers. Quality of the printing seems pretty decent from what I've seen.

i just did a rough comparison of size/cost between inprnt and s6, I believe you can earn the same amount on both sites assuming you charge the same price as the fixed price on inprnt.

only thing is that inprnt fixes prices and s6 doesn't

okay question about S6 art prints -

But what percentage do they add on top of that. Is it 50%, so I want $10, they sell it for $20?

It just adds on to their base price, but their base price remains the same.
