Look here! Forever 21 is marketing a shirt for men that is almost IDENTICAL to this one. This shirt has been around for awhile but forever 21 JUST put this newest shirt on their site...

If they have to go through all that trouble to steal your idea and modify it a bit to make a sale, then i'd be happy if it were my design. It goes to show how much they enjoyed it. Look at the positive side of it, obviously, they have already looked at it from the negative side.

call_me_handsome - it's one thing to have a design you like as like, the background for one's myspace page. it's another thing to copy that design and sell it to a major company, and making perhaps more money than the artist they stole the idea from. it's a total lack of respect for the original artist, no matter how much they liked it. there are enough people out there that like the design without stealing it.

Forever 21 is kind of notorious for this stuff. I'm a blog addict and I read Fashionista a lot, probably too much. They are constantly ripping off other designers, usually high end labels like Michael Kors or Marc Jacobs.

So good luck, Threadless. I hope you conquer the bastards.
