Ok so i saw NomadSlim's post about Inkscape. And i can't bring myself to forking over $500- $600 for Illustrator.. And I completely love Inkscape now.
But....

Question #1:
I was wondering if i could still submit ideas for here. Cause i thought the templates only worked on Adobe and Macromedia products or whatever..

And Question #2:
I'm still new to submitting ideas, so I don't know what format to put it in and all that jazz..

PLEASE HELP!
anyone that can. NomadSlim, you seem to know a lot about Inkscape so maybe you could help. BUT anybody's help works.

I know for a fact the Illustrator template works with CorelDRAW. Not familiar with Inkscape. Once you get your stuff looking exactly how you want it to look using the templates, just save it as a PNG, GIF or JPEG. You'll have to pixel-perfect size your image before saving it, tho. Has to be 640 pixels wide.

Hope this helped. :)

You don't really need the templates... it's more of a guideline for shirt colors and an example shirt illustration that you can use for placement. Just make sure the size of your image is correct, that you show where the placement of your design is, and that you use the correct shirt colors. You should be fine.

inkscape has an export to .png option. Threadless accepts .png submissions. Just make sure the work area size in inkscape is 640px wide and under 800px high.
