  • I think the cassete itself makes a strong enough correlation to the time period in music you're thinking of (which can't possibly be 2008, I don't believe any audio tapes were produced in 2008). So ditch the ring and the date and let the cassette speak for itself.

  • They look more like flash drives to me than mp3 players. Still, I don't get it either. There is something about it I really like, but I think it should have a more traditional center chest placement. Since it's a strange enough design already, it won't benefit any from the periferal placement it's in now.
